Body and soul

There's a rose under my pillow
With the sweet smell of you
I gave it all
You gave it up
To be a rose under my pillow
And the scent of my dreams

There's a picture in my mind
Blinded by your touch
I gave it all
You gave it up
To be a picture in my mind
And the warmth of memories

There's a song in my soul
Sung by your voice
I gave it all
You gave it up
To be a song in my soul
And the voice of my muse

There's a reason for reasons
In the logic of you
I gave it all
You gave it up
To be my reason for reasons
And my logic to life

I realy enjoyed this poem. I think it is so sweat. Thanks for writing it so I was able to enjoy it.

wow - I've never seen so many poems for one person (maybe you should talk to Elaine about the poetry she read where every poem was about one girl that the guy saw once in his life)

This one is excellent, ash. Geez, your muse is on the loose. I love the flow, the rhythm, *everything*. What else can I say?
