Fear held me down and raped me one night
It filled my heart with its pain and fright
It left me there to sit and die
I lay still and cry and cry
Fear pushed me in the road one day
A car came by and I was in its way
It hit me and left me there die
I lay still and cry and cry
Fear trapped me in a cage one time
Made me listen to its untaming rhythm
It starved me and left me there to die
I lay still and cry and cry
Fear let me out to flee
To let me go and leave me be
It set me wild to let me die
I run away and cry and cry
Who is your fear
Some really scary imagery used here, and it's incredibly effective. I can feel this poem so much I'm shaking It really hits home and makes a point Reuben
i like it...i think that the word and is a little over used...who is it about?? i think that it could be about someone but i don't know.
