Life's Lessons

Lessons of Value,

Not of merit,

But of spirit.

The pacifist path,

Bears bitter fruit.

The lesser thought,

Helps and loves.

Pain infused in young bright eyes,

Dulling visions of insight.

Brutal honesty,

And physical respites.

The cold, calculations,

And unwanted occurrences.

To leave and reenter,

To find similar surroundings.

Life unfolds its nasty surprise,

Cruelties, friendship, mistrust and mislead.

To leave no better, no, worse,

An experience of life,

A taste of death.

This is a good portrayal of life in this phase. Well done, my dear. Hurrah.
