Life the way I sometimes view it.

I think sometimes it hurts to live
But not for long
Cause temporary pain will give
Balance to right and wrong.

The balance this implicate
Suggest ups and downs on each side
No sorrows or happiness to accumulate
Because the gaps between’s so wide

Somehow we forget the sorrows
We just kick ourselves up
Look forward to the next tomorrows
The joys there are our power up.

Always these ups and downs
It’s the seesaw of life
Sometimes face full of frowns
Other times beautifully ripe.

You and me in chosen seats
Together we flip
Up and down, we keep the beats
An asymmetric trip.

It’s the seesaw of life.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Just a genreal thought that without ups there's no downs and also that everyone have someting(or someone) on the other side on the seesaw pushing them up and down.

Ups and downs. We all go through it. Though some have really HIGH ups and really LOW downs. It's nice to have a little more balance between the two.

I like that it goes up and

I like that it goes up and down. That way I appreciate the good things and also by knowing bad, I can recognize good. And I think it's the way it should be. But, as you say, some have huge ups and huge downs. That's unhealthy
