You know that feeling?

When, at the end of some life-changing film

or a song that cries with you

or a perfect day spent with someone

you love,

your veins throb

and your heart feels like a cloud?

And then afterword

When the deafening boom of

life starts to play over the

single bead of ringing in your ear

like hospital madness

and heart monitors

saying

“he’s gone”

Before anyone could consider the

Possibility 

Of death.
