Heroes

some of the best heroes died so we could be free

and almost all of them said well its not going to be me..

but then with a moment a blink of an eye

something happens and we prove history right.

they shed one tear

they say good-bye

and before you know it

our heroes

Have died..

and with this we take only a lesson learned

For every battle there's at least one bridge that's burned.

and for that one loss we save so much more

heres to the battle

For we've won the war.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

i wrote this after watching The Movie Troy.

now its not really about Troy.
its about Heroes
and what makes Heroes Heroes in the 1st place..
i think we forget that there all too human...
i just find it sad that all the greatest Heroes Died trying to save someone they loved...

If they ever tell my story let them say that I walked with giants. Men rise and fall like the winter wheat, but these names will never die. Let them say I lived in the time of Hector, tamer of horses. Let them say I lived in the time of Achilles.
