orion

ROXY'S POEMS

There’s a black cloud out to night.

It’s the only cloud in the sky.

And it looks as sad and lonely as I feel tonight.

Its over orion just over the horizon.

But so far out of reach to me.

The northern star is out like a beam.

So I close my eyes clinch my fists

And lord I beginning to dream.

I wish I could fly up to the heavens tonight.

Lord clip my wings.

For I’ll never touch down from my forever flight.

Well I’ve been wishin on ever star and constellation.

For my Resolution or even a Revelation.

But I guess I’ll keep on wishin

Cause its this love I keep on missin.

A million light years away a star is born

And die’s today.

Never getting to grace our weary eyes.

What was meant be to be is there

Stars falling with out a care.

We’re watching the drifts they leave behind.
