"DECISIONS"



Sometimes it's hard to do what you know needs to be done.







Today I watched from a distance, you didn't see me there,

I saw you flirting madly, like you didn't have a care.

I knew right there and then, you weren't the one for me,

This little note my darling, is to set you free.



Today I made a decision to allow myself to heal,

I pushed aside the love for you that I used to feel.

I won't hold back the tears that need to flow,

I won't question myself, it's time for you to go.



Today I start a new life, I'll make new memories,

With someone who is smart enough to appreciate me.

Today I finally let myself see the person you really are,

I don't know how I let myself go down this road so far.



Today I made a decision to smile again each day,

I finally listened to my heart, here's what it had to say.

You don't need ANYONE to give you anything,

So here's your letter, poem or what ever



Today i sat down to think about all thats happened

and I knew right then and there,

you weren't the one for me,

I've been living my life all wrong,

Now I find myself alone every night.

but thats the end now is time to fight.
