Suicide Scars

a majestic swirl you claim your strife

You seem to have nothing in your life

but am i nothing?

i'm not invisible

you care too much

it's inconcievable

so you give up your battle

a never-ending war

and the very soul inside of you

is chilled to the core

a slap of reality

like ice to the flame

you're melting inside

and you remember my name

i wish that i could hold you

comfort all your pain

but for that i myself would need

to be whole once again

you leave these marks inside my soul

of wishing, envy and love

you sit on top of the hill at night

with wonderment from above

we wish that all was better

these hearts were not so cold

with such hope that someday

we might be able to grow old

but our childhood lives on

in every single way

to be rid of that

would be to start a new day

the knife is far too tempting

these pills, they call our names

and once more we realize

that we'll play this horrid game

russian roulette you could call it

a chance, a hope, a dream

and every thing we live for

is now just some small scheme
