There's a necklace i see
in the shape of a snake
it hangs around his neck
in a most peculiar way
he's bloodied and bruised
he did it to himself
now he stands like a trophy
hanging on a shelf
my beautiful boy
look what you've done
you've hurt yourself now
you seem to be bleeding
you seem to be dying
what should i do with the pain?
it's all but a bit too much
don't worry my dear boy
i'm taking care of it
we'll soon be together
singing of the summer
you used to love the way i sing
i used to love the suffocation
will you send the pain below?
will you let me die here alone?
my wonderful boy
why worry yourself with all of this?
it will soon be over for you
you took the pain away for you
but still remains in me
echoing, resounding in my hollow emptiness
as it shall, always.
You expressed the pain beautifully,it was a sad poem, with small glimmers of happiness when looking back on memories. I loved it.
