THE OTHER DAY
Let me tell you about the other day.
I realized that no matter what happened in the past, all the anger I took from you.
I felt the tears well up in my eyes as I sang the song you sang at karaoke the first time I went to sing with you.
I heard the words come out of my mouth, “ I will always love you.”
I hit every note every moment, knew that the words were part of my life, yes I realized and always knew that the other day I will always love you, but this is a new day and as songs and actions bring back memories I will erase that one from mine, and will always remember in my heart about the other day.
