Each night I gaze up at the sky
The biggest Star to find

Waiting there for me, it seems to be
So far away, yet so close

In the evening sky , the Star winks
Out to me it reaches

Each night it magically appears
For the world to see

Upon this special Star I've wished
It seems, my whole life through

I made my wish. I've closed my eyes

Dreams and plans of hope

One day I got my wish, and then
Met you I finally did

Someone special you are
You who made my dreams all come true

Whenever we're apart now
That same bright Star I find

So close to you I feel
Where you are it does not matter.
