04 - Another day another delusion

Folder:
A world of her own

The comic was wonderfully ilistrated, briliant colors and contrasts as she turns the pages, the hero, Super Fox, making his way to the furry in distress as he searches the city for which wearhouse she could be in.

At last he finds one lined with lead, an almost dead give-away that some one is trying to hide something inside as he lands and makes ready too .......

She doses off, her head falling to her pillow some place after that as her day finally catches up with her. She sleeps soundly with a soft smile on her face, enjoying her dreams it seems as she murrs, her alarm clock set, as always, to wake her up in time to get to work the next day.

The alarm goes off in it's usual claxon as her hand shoots out and hits snooze then she fumbles it off and ponders sleeping an extra hour before her feet wake up and start her into the living room of her apartment. She fumbles the TV on then gets the remote and pushes some buttons, missing the station she wanted a documentary comes on about child actors ...

"So Bambi, what was it like after the movie" a deep voice replies "It was hard getting work, it took years before a sequal came out and I wasn't even asked if I wanted to be in it, how humiliating is that? I mean I was the star of the first one, it was named after me ... after that well, I did some anti predation comercials and a few photo shoots that I'm not too proud of ... but I think I got it together now after rehab and hope to be able to get back into the work force and earn some cash legit" the first voice comes back "After the comercial we'll be back with Thumper and Flower"

"Flees got you itching for relief? Tics getting under your skin? Don't do anything drastic get Napalm and get rid of them once and for all ..." a fast speeking voice comes on "napalm may contain agents that some furs are alergic to, napalm is not for everyone, if loss of hair occures or growth of new eyes, arms, legs or breasts occure discontinue use and seek medical help immediately, napalm is not recomended for furs under the age of six, male, pregnant or may become pregnant, breastfeeding or have other medical conditions"

"And we're back with Flower, the cute skunk, and Thumper, the rabit. Tell me guys, what was it like working on the origonal Bambi movie?" an afeminate male voice speeks up first "Well I found that it brought out my true self. I got to enjoy being how I really was. Even as a child I knew I was ... different ... but because of this movie I met my wonderful life partner ... we've been together sence then" a more masculine voice comes on "Yes, I had always loved how skunks were, people are really too hard on them, they are actually very sweet and timid animals, and they love affection just like anyone else would. I would have to say that I first fell in love with Flower the moment I saw him in the posies during shooting. I may have looked like a child then but I was actually 16 already, I'm a pigmy rabit so I was full grown in the film. As for Flower, well, we weren't stupid, I waited until he was old enough before we did anything together, but he's been living with me for a while." The TV is turned off as she goes to take a shower, already hearing more than she needed to and needing to hustle to make ready for work she takes her pills, gets dressed and grabs her wallet and money on the way out the door to the bus ...

Author's Notes/Comments:

I saw a most unusual thing today while doing my laundry. I was looking out the window at the pool and for about half an hour there was one male duck, malard, sitting near some bushes, when he got up I could see there was a nest there and a moment later I saw why he got up, another male had come ... however instead of seeming to be put off, he seemed glad to see the other male and acted in a way I assume to be submissive as the second male proceded to mount the first one ... then they both went for a swim and back to the nest ... definately an unusual thing to see to say the least ...
