I came to say goodbye today
to the person who raised me
Loved me,fought with me
taught me to be a mother
So it was in a different light
I saw you today,
A warm and caring,loving person
who was always there for a friend
I came to say goodbye today
not so embarrased
To look like you,but proud to
come close, proud to have
Been a part of your life
proud to be your daughter
I came to say goodbye today
To the woman I called Mother
that was sweet. so many kids lack good mothers, or lack the appreciation for them. if you have children, i hope they appreciate you, they should. i would give years off my life to be able to say "thank you" to my ma, just one more time.
