The Poetry Of A Wrinkled Face

A wrinkled face tells more than just an age
It’s a road map of every experience
Everything lost and everything gained
A book of the story that would take too long to tell
Every detail sketched into their skin
Engraved around their mouth are the wrinkles many overlook
Every emotion is felt throughout the mouth
Let it be happiness or despair, either one the more beautiful
And every line above their brow,
A different memory they choose not ever to forget
And for the wrinkles around the eyes, aye, those are my favorite
Wisdom painted them upon the face, for they have seen many people and lovely things
I’ve learned not to glance at a wrinkled face, but to sit down and have coffee

This is exactly

The right way to think about it.

And them lines

Shout out

To the world

I have earned my way

To be here !

Your poetry's beautiful just keep it simple and great potential

          Wrinkles

Tells more than just an age

every experience everything lost and everything gained.

Every detail sketched,

Every emotion engraved.

Happiness or despair,

Either beautiful---memories,

Painted wisdom upon the face.
