Living Water

Folder:
Love Poems

You stirred up my heart

But you left without setting it back

Your eyes chase me through the night

Your tears broke my metal heart

Now, I can’t seem to get back on track

The sheets on my bed miss your warmth

One moment in time which never stopped

One kiss which pierced through my rotten life

Eyes staring but no one saw it

Why you left me without living water?

One night that connected our spirits

One loving touch that gave me everlasting freedom

But how can you take my heart in your pocket

And not return it?

How did I not notice your loving essence?

You kept it locked inside under safety

Why did you hide it from me?

Why did you take it from me?

Where is the living water that I need to live?

Very powerful. In the sixth line, is "you" supposed to be "your"?

No i meant to be "your" as "I

No i meant to be "your" as "I miss your warmth". Why do you think it could be "you"? just curious. thanks for the comment!
