The Stars Who Heard The Little Hedgehog On Earth.

Once it became dark, the stars giggled and talked as they looked around at the quiet and empty earth. Only trees, and bodies of water made their calm, peaceful noises, as usual.

“How come there isn’t anyone else amongst us?” They discussed.

“Helloooo,” yelled one of the stars down to earth; of course, expecting no reply.

“Hello? Can you hear me?” A tiny voice squealed from down below.

The stars fumbled around and as they squinted to adjust their eye sight, a porcupine, as small as an apple, appeared at a distance. Surrounded only by the Greenland, it stood all lonely and lost.

“What are you doing down there?” asked one of the Stars.

“Well, pretty much nothing, I am all alone in this earth…I wish I had a friend here,” it shrugged helplessly.

The stars, radiant and surprised by the discovery of this creature looked at each other, and without saying anything they went to sleep just as the morning sun was arriving, all of them smiling.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” the morning had arrived and the so had a new friend into that lonely earth. The porcupine jumped and shouted in tears of joy, the stars had brought him a little friend, a rabbit. The two got along perfectly, they did races from one tree to the other, they played to see who could gather the most flowers from the ground, they even played hide and seek. After a week, the stars rejoiced at the sight of the porcupine’s exorbitant happiness. They decided to help a little bit more. And so, each night a new animal appeared on earths ground. By early morning, all the animals would run over to meet the new member. First a frog, then a lion, later a zebra and so on. The stars had created the happiest family on earth. The lonely silence was replaced, the trees and water now singed and danced with the animals.
