Darkening Madness

Darkness invades her soul,
Madness cascades down the hole,
That holds her sobbing heart,
That's slowly falling apart.

Can you see the sadness,
Buried in her deep brown eyes?
Can you see the madness,
She has been through her whole life?

No, you don't understand,
It will never be alright;
You can't lend her a hand,
Always alone, she will fight.

Giving her sympathy,
Will not make things good again;
She took a glimpse, you see,
Her near future brings no friend.

Madness invades her soul,
Darkness slipping down the hole,
That holds her swollen heart,
Which has now fallen apart.

I normally don't like poems

I normally don't like poems that rhyme, they usually feel forced to me for some reason.......But this flows very nicely, I really like this!
