Stitch Me Up

Folder:
Poetry

Eye'd do anything for a drug to numb my pain,

Eye'd do anything for a razor to open old wounds,

Eye'd do anything to relive it all.

[But pain is so beautiful.]

Take a needle, stab it into my arms,

Stitch up these bloody wounds.

Eye'm afraid eye'm not pretty,

Eye know eye'm not perfect.

Why can't eye be me again?

Break glass, shatter the reflection in the mirror,

That reflection that is me.

Kneeling in front of this open fire,

Eye'm free to cry chemical tears,

And bleed this corrosive blood.

Take my needle, stab it in my arm,

Stitch up my bloody wounds.

Powerful in its imagery, Just the severity of the torment you inflict upon yourself to what end. It brings one to question why oh why did i make that cut... Been there... Glad to be in a better place now. Im a fan of "stitich up my bloody wounds" lol, a big fan.
