Prince of Death

A cold, grim night begins,

illuminated by the stars and cosmos,

and the shadowy figures move into the chapel's courtyard.

Desecration is their game;

painting foul numbers on holy tombstones,

taking steel to their flesh, spilling their steaming blood,

and proceeding to beat one another, nearly to death.

At the group's head, the Prince of Death smiles.

The Ceremony ends and the men leave as the smoke rises.

The Prince returns to his dwelling;

masked in black and white, adorning Satan's inverted cross.

Fire, blood and sacrifices come and go,

filling the days with a dark horror.

Time passes and the Prince grows weary;

his life unsecure, even threatened.

An encounter with the Count is at hand,

which ends in death.

One, two, twenty-three stabs,

and the Prince falls slain.
