M.N.F.

A glimpse of an eye,

the flash of a kind, curious smile--

seemingly innocuous actions served as a spark,

the catalyst which ignited the reaction.

Thus began a flame, now raging like wildfire,

                  engulfing my being,

burning brighter than the combined apparent magnitude of a billion novae.

Throughout the flames, my soul dances merrily,

drinking warming elixirs from a well of wealth--

--a source previously unknown and concealed from me--

as multitudes of synchronocities rain down all around,

resonating as loud and clear as cannonfire.

Yet, for all the grandiosity and commotion of this splendor,

   in the traditional sense, it is by no means a violent event;

as overwhelmingly surreal and alien as this may be,

my mind, body, and spirit welcome this newfound warmth with a smile,

for this magnificent force is no invader,

despite how it rushes over my being like a harbor wave--

its wake leaves not a scene of destruction and chaos,

rather a beautiful reimagining of Eden,

a paradise of rebirth and renewal replacing what had been

                         a barren wasteland

of despair and solitude, populated with loathsome creatures.

I had heard tales of such events and associated sights--

--even priorly believing that I had encountered them--

but upon bearing witness to this particular force,

I realize how beautifully powerful it truly is,

as it eclipses all previously held knowledge of mine--

         of life,

            of love,

               of true happiness and ecstasy.

The biggest, brightest, most beautiful things in this universe

can, in the blink of an eye, seemingly emerge from nowhere--

and I, an awestruck mortal, count myself among the Blessed,

for I caught a glimpse of my own personal Big Bang,

one that bears Meagan Noelle for a name.
