Barely breathing yet nearly screaming

I'm not sleeping but I'm dreaming

I'm still seeing if what I'm feeling

Is something more than barely being



I've been reaching for the ceiling

Beyond the moonlight that is sealing

The pain I'm bleeding it's succeeding

In revealing the thoughts so fleeting



I'm still reeling from the real thing

Not just dreams where angels will sing

Secrets I'm keeping now we will see

The light in me that I've been healing
