Trapped inside this iris bliss

As the breath escapes my lips

I can sense the motions inside my mind



Another day as sweat rolls down

One more regret that I have found

Drowning to the echoes before my eyes



I can't help but crash and burn

It's a lesson I've never learned

A paradise in midnight dreaming

Taken by these thoughts so fleeting
