Vintage Words

Through thick, through thin, you are there.

Sometimes life falls apart and in the midset

of salvation you are the cure.

When bad news knocks, I have to
answer, throw the door wide,
but then you are standing beside
me and calm takes over.

Whenever asked, you appear

and I can smile against adversity.

Sometimes, I can laugh.

Lovely rendition and

Lovely rendition and perspective Lady A.
True friendship is certainly a sub-division of the ether known as Love.

"The stars awaken a certain reverence, because though always present, they are inaccessible; but all natural objects make a kindred impression, when the mind is open to their influence." R.W.E.

I remember some of my algebra - but I feel it , YES I do FEEL IT coming on, another poem in which FRIENDSHIP is the SUBSET of LOVE - Yes, I am inspired! - Lady A

Love walked in and decided
to collect all of her
chidren, as if the world
had spit them out
like peach pits
not wanting

Friendship was first to waltz
in, happy to be away from
the faithless, the losers,
the once true turned
tawdry and

Love welcomed Friendship
full-hearted fabulous
because with just one
there can be only
or vistors.
