Fear of all things
corporeal, ethereal,
super-nature, the long
ago belief system once
devoured, regurgitated.
Nature rebelled again
and the mind off-kiltered
so views askewed.

Fear killed off large
grey matter quadrants.
Lifeforms invade all
around medi-shielding,
in air, surfaced like
a disease.

Fear eases like paranoia.
Slowly. Orange is a valid
color and a jonquil reclaims
beauty for starters. Skies
have not been namesake blue
for an eternity. Walk on grass
relieved. Time to regrow.
