Legs flinging skyward

in sinc to carols crooned

above the crowd's roaring,

stockings perfect, shoes

high polish light-capturing

for the celebration like

a rockette.

It's the blue jean

rock. Boomers loved

the feel and liberation,

x-ers loved the

liberation from fashion

dollars and the feel,

millennials may rebel,

but I doubt it. They too

will jingle their bells

and don wranglers

because blue jeans

rock.
