A lot of problems have been mulled over
while sitting on park benches. It is as if there
were a sign posted beside the long seat
that says: "Thinking over your fears
and dilemmas here is allowed."

Sit, and after you become bored with
watching the pigeons, and the bread crumbs
from your bag lunch are exhausted, the
work can commence. The space around benches
in parks are sacred.

It is widely accepted that, as adages might go,
a park bench has a semi-magical aura surrounding
it that causes the mind to take more seriously
the problems of the universe. If you are
scientist, do visit. It explains the odd behaviors of children, if you are a parent. No subject is taboo,
however, smooching or necking is preferred
after sunset.
