In the open on prairies, in

deserts, atop mountains, bound

by dream like climes and oceans,

people feel small and marvel

at the majesty of vast spaces.

.

Edged nerves ignite like

ice  set to vulnerable

skin. Goosebumps and trembling

and sleepy eyes blink at big skies,

marching dunes, boundless billions

counted as a starred nights.

.

Joining ego terrains to vast

places enriches belief in isness,

in whereness, in hereness.

Sizes are relative when

causing the mind to engage

massive scapes and wide horizons.

Scale notwithstanding, the view.

becomes whole-body engaging.
