Who Said That?

Folder:
Vintage Words

I have been old since the age of eleven.

grew up fast on the streets of Detroit

avoiding all the pitfalls. Well,

most of 'em.

I am a result, six decades later,

awakened either by the will to continue,

light from some outside world or

pain.

I am so glad that someone invented

aspirin concepts and turned them

into something you can swallow.

Living is easier.

Thank me for the I'm too old

to think up anything insightful

either. So, here is well wishes

for survival and peace and

painlessness.

Evolution is standing

at the window leaning against

the sill, picking dreams from her

teeth, and watching the wonder

that is us.
