I am strong 

Not because I chose to be. 

I am strong because I have no choice to be. 

When the world is on my shoulders 

I don't ask God for my baggage to get lighter. 

I pray for a stronger back. 

I am positive. Because I need to be. 

To survive. 

When you are surrounded by negativity. 

And the world around you lays broken down 

And the people around you are laying in misery

They look up to the one with strength. 

The pressure built around me 

Is the fuel to my fire 

To burn bright. 

I must be strong to light the way

For others around me. 

I smile even when it's not easy. 

Because it warms the life of others around me. I don't have much. I am piss poor. 

But I have a golden soul 

And million dollar dreams. 

I stay bright for the people I love 

Much more concerned with their situation 

I motivate others. 

Because I know what it's like. 

to be lost in the dark. 

It's been a painful year. 

Lost many friends 

Moved and faced unfortunate losses 

Struggle is something I'm familiar with. 

But I won't Let it consume me. 

I am not my situation. 

I will continue to fight for love. 

Truth and honesty. 

I'm not perfect. 

But I don't believe I am bitter. 

I do the best I can.

With life running it's course 

I make the most of what i have. 

People will always have more. 

And people will always have less. 

So i stay true to myself. 

And stay content and satisfyed. 

Even when I feel broken. 

I refuse to give in. 

Life will be be beautiful again. 

You just have to believe.
