A Kiss Too Far

In a town many miles away awaits

The perfect kiss that my lips really crave

From my distant prince on horseback

Whose path never quite seems to cross mine.

I try so hard to reach his land

To see his lips and get my kiss

But everytime I get remotely close to him

Fate manages to turn me in a different direction.

His lips so sweet will probably never touch mine

For that one perfect moment that will blow my mind

Melt my heart and ease my worried soul

And make me the happiest girl in the whole wide world.

So I'm most likely stuck just daydreaming everyday

Of what's on my mind throughout the day

The one kiss that my heart will never know

The one kiss that is too far.
