Remember
On this day,
Remember those who died,
For our country and people,
For hope and justice.
Remember those who lived,
To smell the sweet scent of victory.
Those who climbed the trenches,
To fight the enemy,
To fight for our freedom,
They died so we could live.
A warrior's mem'ry continues on,
It shall ne'er fade from the air,
Their courage gives us hope,
Their spirits shall always guide us.
Remember those, on this day,
All who served and died,
We shall wear a poppy,
And bow our heads for them.
These brave warriors gave their lives so that those that follow may live out their seasons in peace and freedom. We'll always be in their debt.
