Epigram On Love, And Hell, 2

"And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts."

---Mark 5:17

Because Love moves in perfect courtesy,

and has respect (to infinite degree),

Love chose a place wherein it will not dwell:

a space reserved for those who live to be

apart from love, refusing Love's Salvation.

The scope of their refusal is damnation.

The place where they exist now is called Hell.

Those, there, suffer relentless agony---

efficient, inclement, and unrelieved---

because, in our world, they had not believed.

Love governs even their sad destiny,

leaving them to their choice eternally.
