Epigram On Wabi Sabi, 1

[after Philippians 4:8 and Philemon 1:7]

Humble, wabi sabi does not expect

a moment of delight to be perfected;

yet, slightly flawed in this world, unrejected:

this courtesy Christ gives to His elect.
The joys Paul says to think on are selected
as this world's chaos tatters and befouls;

but are, in conversation, well connected---

bringing, Paul says, refreshment to the bowels

(meaning, the vital verve) of saints elected.
