Atlantic’s Shore

hidden treasure found, eons passed by

new love appears, and then tragedies rely

sunny days drift from November’s sapphire sky

gap between measure, the distance will reply

dispatch the times, I think of you

there are hooks in my soul, through and through

your touch felt so true

until it vanished into the blue

this tawny existence of living means

subdued memory of withering green

emotions in chaos taste the tears

on my lips are the whisper of fears

the sky stretches into its gray

time has no essence, no instant replay

to see my heart's deep core

is the shadow of the Atlantic’s shore

from the time when the crime was committed

time is consumed instead and arrest is resisted

even at autumn's end spatial want of my heart descends

like dried leaves sail away on the icy winds
