the deep blue

behind summers access

bow turns windward

that I should seek the baleen

Let finback sing to me

my cherished one

above my ocean, deep greens

shadow blue

an albatross high spirits flow

soft sunlight above

white caps below

back in mist of time

I look out to starboard

that I should sail on the wind

grey cloud teardrops veil my pain

I lost your prize

above my sea, deep greens

shadow blue

there I fell away from your gentle caress

deep down into your eyes

this emotion that goes on forever

so close, but never again to kiss you

I sigh

I sail

evermore

happiness eludes me

how am I

with sorrow if you will never whisper to me

but I still call to you

“darling one, I will be loving you”

“you and I, and the deep blue”

You are such an artist. I could feel and smell the sea soaked breeze as I read this.
