How Sweet Stupidity Sounds Somtimes

The cold and lonely box I'm in...

I find quite odd and intresting

I seem to be devoid of sin

But no one seems to be listening

I wish that they could all escape

They wander rather aimlessly

Trapped by haunting shapless fate

Besmirched but living shamlessly

And yet at times my envy grows

They live and laugh and do not care

I find it hard to only know

While guilt and shame they do not bear

There was a Railway on-board ticket checker

There was a Railway on-board ticket checker. He travelled at night from Stn Six to Stn Seven and back both being night journeys. He was used to sleeping on railway berths. At home he had made his room like a railway compartment.Same windows, fans, basin, etc. The berth was the usual 3 feet wide hanging from the wall. At night one of his grown up sons would pull a rope so that the berth swayed as in a train. After a minute or two, he would be fast asleep Laughing

Please don't take my comments very seriously Mr Daniel

Please don't take my comments very seriously Mr Daniel. This was an excerpt from a TV soap.Your poem was good to read my friend. Possibly one gets used to night shifts and find it difficult to sleep at home on off days .... Be Happy. God Bless.
