The night helped me drift away faster

Faster than I've ever fallen before

Sleep assured me that the dark thoughts

would be away for a little while

Fell into a tunnel even before I had fallen

Felt my heart pound harder,

Harder than I felt when they had died

I was told of a light

Brighter than the sun

One light that your eyes would not blink away

Nothing but light...

I had been told about this experience

But my experience was the only one I could grasp

Told of a love story so powerful

Destined for a happy ending

Even us to be destined to share in that ending

Weeping is not the word I should use

when I saw His face

I let go of all my happiness and pain in his palms

There was a tale of a force that could wipe my tears

and appear them as diamonds

Can't even remember what demons where haunting me

They all disappeared when they saw my smile

My faith prevailed and I saw what I had dreamt of

all my life!

This metamorphosis is my greatest journey

In the end...

all that I have lost

was found along with Him.

Words cannot explain His greatest gift to me

Being able to see my immortals

The ones I mourned

Truths that were hidden and wondered about

Stories so beautiful about immortality

Being able to tell my story...

as the Angels looked upon me

With all the good and Him by my side...



This was the journey I had been waiting for.
