There was this past

that suddenly woke up

Such a short time,

a long time ago

I hadn't written of you before

There were times when I wondered

which way you went

Suddenly I thought I didn't care

cause I knew where you had gone

Inside my heart

Remembering when we met

how laughter seemed so innocent, real

You took prejudice and stereotyping and

threw it out the window that day for me

That was something that touched me

so deeply

I know you were looking at me now

Wishing I could've stayed with you more

Talked some sense into you

How much everyone really loved you

You took all that with you

and kept all that hate in a closet

It's like you're really here

Your voice echoes

I miss you

I miss remembering you

I really really really hope we meet in heaven

Look for me and I'll look for you

The day we're together

it's gonna be a blast
