Untitled

I often wish to fly away as I once did,

Perhaps to the moon and back again.

Surely not for too long,

I fear I'd miss the tears that I so often shed

Though behind me, back home I'd always carry them.

I often wish to roll upon the ground

To your feet as I've often done.

In heaven my life is already taking its toll.

Please take my life away.

Often times the music rolls by my ears

And I miss a note or two.

But never does one tear miss my eyes.

To see the world as my eyes do see,

I can only see my dreams.

I often wish...often dream for you.

I often step in one direction to the next.

Going where my eyes direct,

Following the sound in my mind.

I often long for tomorrow.

Dream a little dream, perhaps one day to come true.
