Waiting for you

I'm standing on a bridge,

waiting for you.

I call your name,

can you hear it?

I'll whisper that I want you.

Will I get my way?

How long will this take?

Its-taking-over-me.

What can I do for you?

Please say you want me.

Life's so un-pre-dict-a-ble,

but I know where I want it to go.

Down the one way street for you!

Lead me in the right direction.

Cause I know thAAts where I'm headed.

I'm standing on a bridge,

waiting for you.

I call your name,

can you hear it?

I'll whisper that I want you.

Will I get my way?

How long will this take?

Its taking over me.

What can I do for you?

Please say you want me.

Nobody can know the out-come

but I can write the perfect ending,

to our own little happily forever after,

exactly how I pictured from the very start.

Now all I need is for you to play the leading part.

I know its a lot to handle,

a lot to absorb in just one moment,

but I promise it will be worth it,

I will have you swept off your feet in no time,

you'll be on my cloud 9.

You'll be just fine.

I can't promise you the world,

but I'll try to give you whatever

you want in it.

I want to be your reason to smile,

just like you are mine.

Story of my life.

Our hearts often call people we wish to love. In a form of aching and unbearable yearning for the significant other to feel the same. But more so than not our Hearts never align calling each other creating bonds of relationships. Witch these one way streets and debilitating attractions we often get burdened with turn into crushes. You would think, cupid would be more accurate in his shots. or at least be kind enough and shoot both people. We too often write scripts too our romances in our head and always tend to set are self's up for disappointment when the script is rewritten by the other person.

Great read. I know the feeling all too well.
