Birthed as a result of commenting on another poem. Minor editing tweak but basically as is.
Makes one wonder:
as honey is to poetry and the bee is to the poet,
in the time of producing and being thus separated,
in its consumption and separation does honey
pine for its creator as the bee for its magnum opus?
Visited a poet friend's page today and commented on a poem about their cousin's honey bee farming adventures.
from a comment in response to TOMH's thistle poem.
