Pride and prejudice is a novel by Jane Austen. She wanted to show how pride and prejudice could ruin love. I need to talk now how love could also make you ruin your dignity and self-respect, and could make you lose your sensibility to what is right and what is wrong. In this case you would prefer to be proud prejudicial than to be humiliated and immature. If you make a list of things that you could see from your lover such as: - You need to beg him to make him tell you sweet words - You need to call him 100 times with no answer - When you call him, he is always busy and has more important things to consider than to pick up your call - If you send him a message with calling him honey, he may reply so, if not, he will never call you honey - He always needs to remind you how he is caring about you by sending you a birthday gift - When you tell him that he doesn’t care about you, he would reply: are you blind, don’t you see how much I love you and care about you? - When you ask him to treat you in a way or another, he will answer you: are you doing that to me? - When you are in troubles or having tough times, he would tell you: finish your work and then we can talk or think about us - Whenever you tell him that you feel bad about how he treats you, he would reply: do you want to break up? And will do it again and again - When you feel too bad and you cannot take it anymore, and you tell him so. Then you call him back after calming down, he would tell you: you left me and you don’t want me, and he will count it as breaking up - When you ask him to visit you, he would find it too difficult to manage the visit and he would find many reasons not to do so - When you plan to visit him after so long time of distance, he would tell you: anyone is welcomed in my place, how about you then! - When you first loved him, you told everyone about your love and after his proposal, you considered yourself as engaged, but he didn’t tell anyone neither about you nor about his proposal - After one of the counted breaking up, you try to call him, send him SMS, emails and postal letters, but he would not answer any of them - He will leave telling you that he loved you, still love you and will always love you, but love is not enough. And then after having some problems he will tell you that he discovered that he is not ready for any commitment now neither to you nor to anyone else and he needs to solve his problems first then he can think of a commitment! After making this list, I guess you wish if you could be proud and prejudicial. |
