I tried
To keep you happy.

It seems that
I wasn't able to sustain
You

Now I look up in the sky,
Knowing you aren't mine anymore.

It brings me tears
Telling myself
You deserve better.

I'm now known for the guy
Who let his love go
To somebody else

You didn't want to leave me
You tried to tell me
You were happy with a
Screw up like me.

But I knew better.
You cried every night
Wondering when I
Would get myself together

I've been holding you back.
It was time to let you go.
Let you reach the stars.

It's true that
I won't be able to love
Another person.

But that's okay.
Just knowing your happy
And that all your needs are satisfied
By a guy who can actually care for you
Is what I'll live on.

Walking on streets
I see you
Holding hands
With somebody else

My hands feel colder than before

Our eyes meet
Maybe for the last time

You smile
I smile back.

That's all.

As long you're happy.
I'll be happy.
As long as there is a smile on your face.
I'll be able to smile as well.

You were my reason to live.

But
I'm now known for the guy
Who let his love go
