Pain runs through my veins,
Filling them with bittersweet feelings.
Guilt takes over my mind
As I break myself apart.

Hurting you makes my heart drop
And my stomach ties into a knot,
Causing empty coughs of true pain.
I kneel on my knees with tears down my face.

Don't be sad for pushing me away,
I know how that truly feels
Because I push everyone else away
Just to give my heart to you.

I long for your warmth and touch,
Sweetly loving you as a lover
And being with you without abandoning you
Because I gave you the Word of a Promise.

Bottled up the emotions and feelings
Just like a puppet with no strings attached.
Would you be sad and unforgiving
If I shattered my spirit just for you?

The sun sets down the skies
And the dark night veil the sky.
Even if it's like closing my eyes,
I can still see your smile in the dark.

No one can pick up the shattered pieces at night.
It's pointless to find at day because they hide from the sun.
