I never met my soul mate,

He fell ill so long ago.

Only he could understand my despair,

Telling me I'm not alone.

When I fall hard and have no will to rise again,

He knows what needs to be said to boost me back to life.

I never met my soul mate,

He died so long ago.

Gasping for air,

The noose takes hold.

Empty pill bottles,

Blood slowly turns cold.

I never met my soulmate,

He killed himself so long ago.

Pain choking out my very life,

The simple thought of no one cares.

Judgement and ridicule,

The silence of shame,

I meet my soulmate tonight,

For tonight I take my life.
