Revin by Shadou

Folder:
My Favorite Poems

On a stormy, rainy, October night.

Atop my tower, viewing the lights.

Children below and moon in the sky.

The evil wind whispers, "Die Kiyoshi die..."

I will not die, and nor shall I fall

To Hell's flaming gates or Heaven's light hall.

Day of the devil, fifteen is done.

But sixteen more reigns thirty-one.

With pumpkins ablaze, and God on the floor,

Celebrate the devil door to door.

Tired I grow, and wiery I am.

No threat to me are the children of the damned.

From spire to ground the moonlight hides.

Soaked to the bone, I slither inside.

Comfort my face, the air be warm.

This comfort I lose, the Blakk upon my arm.

It burns and stings, it writhes in tears,

A warning, a sign, of bloody tears.

I race to the door, my heart in pain,

For standing alone, is Revin in the rain.

Clothes cling to skin, hair covers eyes,

My heart is heavy, for she could die.

I embrace her, I hold her, I take her in.

Just once in this life shows the kindness within.

Up to my room, the candles are lit.

The smell of waterfalls, my bed she sits.

I hold her close, I won't let go.

I care for her dearly, my true feelings show.

She holds me back, I caress her skin,

Smell her scent, and taste her sins.

I lay her down upon the sheets.

Out of true happiness my Revin weeps.

Slowly but surly we strip to the flesh,

I enter, she moans with quickening breath.

One night is all, full moon above,

This is all we need to make sweet love.

The night is long, the love is sweet.

By morning light, our bodies are weak.

We lay in the bed, bodies of sweat.

My arms around you, you dare not fret.

I stare in your eyes, I smile now.

Being with you, now I vow.

This love is dark, this love is true.

All in my heart...I love you.
