So cold

A place familiar to an educated mind

Locked inside

This cage which holds the best of me

On the inside is blood, inhuman

Lying on the ground, trembling with distain



Marking your actions with gunmanship

Your heart in the line of sight

Sweat dripping constantly from the head

Fear creeping towards the trigger

Without the conscious being

Consequences are ignored



Red eyes

Stricken with the pain of your love

Stone cold

The fashion of the heart inside

Blood pumping

Raging with the addiction of adrenaline

Peace

The calm within the storm of my soul



I'm lost once again

Back to where it all started

This mirage of a heartbroken prison
