Suicide

A strong word

With a strong meaning



No one could ever understand

The way you must feel

To contemplate this

To make it real



To be surrounded by darkness

With no way out

To see no light for the future

To forget what life's about



Pain takes over

Emptiness kicks in

Angry at the world

Hurt deep within



It all gets too much

To cope with, it all gets too much

To live with. But you can’t share the

Problems, due to broken trust



Taking your own life

Prevents anyone else from ruining it

As you’re in control, it’s your decision

To surrender yourself or to battle through



But every time your heart beats

It hurts

And every time your heart bleeds

It hurts



As you hold onto your dream

Through the clouded vision of sight

You wish it had been different

You’d wish there was light

But as time goes on

Reality shows you

That you’d never be who you wished you’d be

And you’d never make it through



So you kill the suffering

You stop the memories

And the pain fades away



It seeps out into the darkness

As your soul flutters into the night

As your heart has given up

And your body has lost the fight



It’s all over

For once and for all

The pain, the hurt, the memories.

Every time you fall

More of your hope is lost

Waiting to be found

Before it’s too late

Before you hit the ground

In silence.
