Jagged Heart

Folder:
Dolour

First jagged piece of the heart,
In the whip crack of the bladed tongue, I order destruction until I smile again.

Second jagged piece of the heart,
Black soot burns like warm blood through the veins and the heart is plagued colourless by the draining darkness.

Third jagged piece of the heart,
In one lie, I destroy worlds with harsh speech.

Fourth jagged piece of the heart,
The cruel, twisted love for the sweet displeasure breaks the mind of its calmness for peace. I am drinking this sickness like sweet wine.

Fifth jagged piece of the heart,
Out of sweet, self-hatred destruction is when a shattered soul becomes a poet's muse.  It is tasteless when done out of love.

Sixth jagged piece of the heart,
As the blade of razors slides across the wrists' flesh, I bleed out the venomous love.

Seventh jagged piece of the heart,
Burning eyes shed no tears, for I weep for naught.

Eighth pieces of the jagged heart,
A depression of dismay pounces on the tired soul. In the wrestle of sanity, I heed to the submission for the moment.
